2011 WEST COAST TITANIUM
RALLY
APRIL
7-11, 2011
Chula
Vista RV Resort – Chula Vista, CA
As most of the attendees at this year’s
Rally are aware, the 2011 West Coast Rally will be held April 7th thru 11th, 2011 at the
Chula Vista RV Resort, 460
Sandpiper Way, Chula Vista, CA 91910, (800) 770-2878, http://www.chulavistarv.com. Chula Vista is located just south of San
Diego, CA.
The Chula Vista RV Resort is one of the San
Diego area’s premier RV Resorts. Check out their web site for additional
details:
Neat, clean, quiet and friendly describe the
atmosphere at the Chula Vista RV Resort. The RV Resort is more than proud of
its continual Five Star rating
from Woodall’s and High ratings from Trailer Life. The facility is
one of San Diego’s finest RV Resorts and boasts 237 spaces with full hook-ups.
In addition, each site is attractively bordered to provide more privacy for our
guests.
The resort is nestled on beautiful San Diego Bay, surrounded by landscaped
parks and adjacent to its own 552 slip marina. Some of the other amenities
include a general store with ladies boutique, picnic area with barbecues, a
beautiful swimming pool and spa, laundry facilities, full restrooms, club rooms
and 2 full-service restaurants Galley at the Marina and South Bay Fish and
Grill.
We have reserved 40 sites with full hookups in the name of the “Titanium Rally”. All of these sites are to be in a group and all are back-ins. Resort contract pricing is $38.50 per night, $154.00 for the 4 nights of the Rally for 2 people, additional people are $3.00 per day, and pets are $1.00 per day.
If we exceed the 40 sites, we may be able to be granted a few more, no guarantees. We will put additional names on a waiting list as received and advise you of your status. We will announce the availability of the Reservation Form in the “Rallies and More” thread. When available, the Reservation Form should be completed and returned to the Organizing Committee to be placed on the “Reservation List”. The fees will be requested starting January 1, 2011. Reservations will be accepted in the order received, with payment in full reservations being given priority.
For those of you who wish to stay additional days, the day before and the day after the Rally will be at the same group rate. The Wednesday and Thursday after the Rally would be at the Resort’s regular daily rate less 20%. Days beyond that will be at the normal RV Park rate in effect at that time.
Those interested in additional days will need to call the Resort and say they are with the “Titanium group”. The Resort will ask for name, address, phone number and the Resort will need to take a deposit (group rate, or more, depending on the amount of additional days).
Any cancellation
of the extra days within 24 hours of reservation has a cancellation fee of
$25.00. Cancellations must be made directly by the member to the Resort.
For any
cancellation of the Rally reservation before March 1st, your entire deposit
will be refunded. For cancellations made from March 1st through April 6th, any
events fee collected will be withheld from the refund to cover expenses we will
have committed to. For a cancellation after April 6th, there are no
refunds.
Planned activities for the Rally are being developed. We have reserved the large meeting room, which includes a large TV, and the kitchen. Pricing for the events and dinners will be announced as the costs are determined.
With the success of the previous Rallies, your Organizing Committee will be preparing to meet or exceed the expectations set in previous West Coast Rallies. Please feel free to post any questions or ideas here and members of the Committee will respond as soon as possible.
We will post information on the registration process, events, dinners, etc, as they are determined. For now, the dates and location are firm. Add them to your calendar. We look forward to seeing as many of our friends there as possible.
